  1. Molly Kellogg seemed to know everybody on the Hill. She joined Daddy’s office soon after graduating from the University of Texas, and stayed on his staff for 29 years. She was so sweet and kind (and pretty) that often an inquiry from Molly was all it took to fix a problem. And she was so gracious that people felt like a million bucks when they helped “Mr. Pickle.” Daddy had the political clout, but Molly had a thousand connections.
